Tristano e Isotta - Tristan and Isolde have finally shown the way: And so Nemorino comes up with the obvious idea of ​​helping the feelings of his adored Adina with a love potion. The quack Dulcamara smells good business and sells the unhappy lover a bottle of the (supposed) miracle brew. And in fact, Nemorino will soon be very popular with all young women in town. But whether Adina can also be charmed? Or will she even hear the competition in the form of the dashing Belcore?

Ever since the audience tasted Gaetano Donizetti's “Liebestrank” at the Milan premiere in 1832, the repertoire of the opera stages has become indispensable. In just a few weeks, a record-breaking short time, even for Donizetti, he achieved a milestone in comic opera. Because with all the sun that shines through the score, the music lets you look deep into the soul of the protagonists. And so Donizetti, when he sensed his chance with Adina, gave his Nemorino the most famous aria of the opera and a true brilliant piece for tenors: “Una furtiva lagrima” is not a jubilant song, but a melancholy romance.
