The National Opera is presenting Offenbach's masterpiece <The Story of Hoffmann> to mark the 60th anniversary of its foundation. <Hoffman's Story> is an omnibus opera that tells a colorful story about life and love. It depicts a human being who grows up through trials while experiencing futile love with the doll Olympia, a mismatched love with Antonia, and a sensual love with Julietta. In 2019, to commemorate the 200th anniversary of Offenbach's birth, the National Opera Company's <The Story of Hoffmann> drew a lot of attention from the audience at the time. The creative team of the 2019 National Opera <The Story of Hoffman>, which was well-received for its excellent interpretation and competence, rejoins and presents the emotion of three years ago again. In this performance, top-class singers such as Yunjong Kook, Beom-ju Lee, Yoon-jeong Lee, Hye-jeong Kang, Sang-ah Yoon, Soon-young Kim, Ye-eun Oh, Ji-eun Kim, Jun-mo Yang, Gi-don Choi, and Jeong-mi Kim appear to present the essence of fantastic French opera.​

국립오페라단은 창단 60주년을 맞아 오펜바흐의 걸작 <호프만의 이야기>를 선보인다. <호프만의 이야기>는 인생과 사랑에 대한 다채로운 이야기를 풀어내는 옴니버스 오페라이다. 인형 올림피아와의 부질없는 사랑, 안토니아와의 어긋난 사랑, 줄리에타와의 관능적인 사랑을 겪으며 시련을 통해 성장하는 인간의 모습을 그린다. 2019년 오펜바흐 탄생 200주년을 기념하여 선보인 국립오페라단 <호프만의 이야기>는 당시 관객들로부터 뜨거운 화제를 모았다. 뛰어난 해석과 역량으로 호평받은 2019년 국립오페라단 <호프만의 이야기> 크리에이티브팀이 재합류하여 3년 전의 감동을 다시 선보인다. 이번 공연은 국윤종, 이범주, 이윤정, 강혜정, 윤상아, 김순영, 오예은, 김지은, 양준모, 최기돈, 김정미 등 정상급 성악가들이 출연하여 환상적인 프랑스 오페라의 진수를 선사한다.​
