Cammarano Premiere ┃ September 26, 1835, San Carlo Theater, Naples [Synopsis] Ram Enrico, the lord of Mermoor, tries to get his younger brother Lucia to marry Arturo, a wealthy man, in order to correct the sloping force. However, Lucia was in love with Edgardo, who came from her antagonizing family, and Enrico, noticing this relationship, intercepts and intercepts a letter between the two. In the end, Lucia believes her brother's lie that Edgardo is engaged to another woman, and is forced to sign her marriage vows to her Arturo. However, when she finds out about Edgardo's unchanging sincerity, Lucia falls into her unbearable grief and despair, and stabs her husband, Arturo, to death. Afterwards, Edgardo, who was at her grave for a duel with Enrico, hears that her Lucia did not betray her, and commits suicide to meet him in heaven. This tragic story ends.
