Three exceptional tenors of our time pay homage to their great idol: Luciano Pavarotti. They let those wonderful arias and canzones ring out, for which Pavarotti became famous. Works by Giuseppe Verdi, Giacomo Puccini and Gaetano Donizetti are also on the program, as are “Mamma”, “O sole mio” and “Funiculi, Funicula”.

Johannes Groß is the head and founder of the German Tenors and is considered by many to be one of the last heroic tenors of our time. Oscar Marin was a student of Montserrat Caballé and today sings all over the world. Ricardo Marinello won the casting show "Das Supertalent" at the age of 18, continues his well-founded classical training and is now considered the "new Pavarotti" by connoisseurs.

The well-known moderator Ulli Potofski will reflect on the varied life of Luciano Pavarotti with stories and anecdotes. An impressive musical homage to the tenor of the century, who unfortunately died in 2007!

Drei Ausnahmetenöre unserer Zeit erweisen ihrem großen Idol die Reverenz: Luciano Pavarotti. Sie lassen jene wunderbaren Arien und Canzonen erklingen, für die Pavarotti berühmt geworden ist. Werke von Giuseppe Verdi, Giacomo Puccini oder Gaetano Donizetti stehen ebenso auf dem Programm wie „Mamma“, „O sole mio“ oder „Funiculi, Funicula“.

Johannes Groß ist Kopf und Gründer der German Tenors und gilt vielen als einer der letzten Heldentenöre unserer Zeit. Oscar Marin war Schüler von Montserrat Caballé und singt heute auf der ganzen Welt. Ricardo Marinello gewann schon mit 18 Jahren die Casting-Show „Das Supertalent“, setzt seine fundierte klassische Ausbildung fort und gilt unter Kennern inzwischen als „neuer Pavarotti“.

Der bekannte Moderator Ulli Potofski wird mit Geschichten und Anekdoten das abwechslungsreiche Leben von Luciano Pavarotti reflektieren. Eine eindrucksvolle musikalische Hommage an den – leider bereits 2007 verstorbenen – Jahrhunderttenor!
