Director Mikhail Eliseev will present a musical and plastic composition at the music by Gustav Mahler. The performance combines music, choreography and poetry. The project is based on Mahler's vocal cycles based on the poems of Friedrich Rückert "Songs of the Earth" and "Songs about Dead Children", as well as poems by Japanese poets.

“The performance in plastic and musical form reflects the experience of a man and a woman who survived the loss of a child. The pain of loss, disbelief in what happened, rejection of reality, a natural reaction to the tragedy that has occurred - these are dramatic, but temporary pages in a person's life path. The knowledge of pain, the knowledge of death is an invariable component of the knowledge of life. Leading the audience through catharsis towards enlightenment is the purpose of the performance, and for this we turned to the works of Mahler , ”explains the director.
