Faust is here transcended by the sublime music of Boito, famous for his inspired melodies, the clarity of his recitatives and his vast choral developments.

The legend of Faust who sold his soul to the devil inspired Goethe in particular. Mefistofele by Boito, Verdi's librettist ( Otello, Falstaff ) is a little-known work which, rather than painting the fate of the damned, focuses on the figure of the tempter. A role in which Rubén Amoretti excels and which he will resume in this new creation alongside Joanna Parisi and Orlando Niz, his partners in Don Carlo and Tosca , directed by Facundo Agudin at Passage in 2012 and 2014.

La légende de Faust qui vendit son âme au diable inspira Goethe notamment. Mefistofele de Boito, librettiste de Verdi (Otello, Falstaff) en est une oeuvre peu connue qui, plutôt que de peindre le destin du damné, se penche sur la figure du tentateur. Un rôle dans lequel Rubén Amoretti excelle et qu’il va reprendre dans cette nouvelle création aux côtés de Joanna Parisi et d’Orlando Niz, ses partenaires dans Don Carlo et Tosca, que dirigea Facundo Agudin au Passage en 2012 et 2014.
