Hailed as “intensely musical” (The Classical Review), Spanish-born conductor Juanjo Mena leads piano duo extraordinaire Lucas and Arthur Jussen in Mozart’s sunny Concerto for Two Pianos. The Dutch brothers bring to life a work Mozart originally composed for three pianos, but later re-arranged into an even more virtuosic showcase of Classical elegance and poise. Schumann agonized over the revisions for his second symphony for so long that it eventually became numbered as Symphony No. 4 — a brooding and passionate work that was well worth the wait.
