In commemoration of the victims of the Communist genocide, on June 14, the Latvian National Opera will perform Giuseppe Verdi's Requiem . It was composed in 1873, dedicated to the memory of the Italian writer Alessandro Manconi, admired by Giuseppe Verdi, and reflects the spiritual drama of man before the omnipotence of God.

Pieminot Komunistiskā genocīda upurus, 14. jūnijā Latvijas Nacionālajā operā izskanēs Džuzepes Verdi Rekviēms. Tas sacerēts 1873. gadā, veltīts Džuzepes Verdi apbrīnotā itāļu rakstnieka Alesandro Manconi piemiņai un atspoguļo cilvēka garīgo drāmu Dieva visvarenības priekšā.
