The fifth concert in the subscription series is all about Richard Wagner's great stage works. With the generous support of the Richard Wagner Association Würzburg/Unterfranken e. V. was able to win Torsten Kerl as a soloist alongside the soprano Elena Batoukova-Kerl, who made her acclaimed debut in Würzburg in 2019 in the role of Brünnhilde in Wagner's "Götterdämmerung". The tenor is one of the most sought-after singers in his field and is a regular guest at the major opera houses in Berlin, Vienna and New York.
