Fascinated by the interplay of echoes from one past to another, Vincent Dumestre and Isabelle Druet have found a common affinity here, as surprising as it is fascinating. A recital where the atmosphere of songs from the Roaring Twenties breathes its sweet madness into early music. In the spirit of the singing tours, they thus invite you to hear some of the most beautiful baroque airs of Monteverdi & Lully up to the contemporary arrangements of songs from the 20th century , made famous by Colette Renard, Barbara, Fréhel or Damia, where the emotion of the voice alone and the poetry of the texts prevail.

Passionnés par le jeu d’échos d’un passé à l’autre, Vincent Dumestre et Isabelle Druet se sont trouvé ici une affinité commune, aussi surprenante que fascinante. Un récital où l’atmosphère des chansons des Années Folles insuffle sa douce folie à la musique ancienne. Dans l’esprit des tours de chant, ils invitent ainsi à entendre quelques-uns des plus beaux airs baroques de Monteverdi & Lully jusqu’aux arrangements contemporains de chansons du 20ème siècle, rendues célèbres par Colette Renard, Barbara, Fréhel ou Damia, où priment l’émotion de la voix seule et la poésie des textes.
