After a forced break of two and a half years, the Paderborn Municipal Music Association is dedicating its autumn concert to the great master of Viennese classical music. Marbod Kaiser is in overall charge. The program includes two of the last works from Mozart's death year 1791 and the rarely heard Masonic Funeral Music . The Northwest German Philharmonic Orchestra and the clarinettist Manfred Preis present the famous Clarinet Concerto in A major , the second movement (Adagio) of which can also be heard in many film scores and popular classical music samplers.

The second part of the concert is the legendary Requiem in D minor , which Mozart composed in view of his approaching death and which was completed by one of his pupils at the instigation of Mozart's widow. The vocal part is performed by the concert choir of the Paderborn Municipal Music Association and soloists from the Detmold State Theater: Penelope Kendros (soprano), Dorothee Bienert (alto), Hyunsik Shin (tenor) and Seongwon Lee (bass).

Nach zweieinhalb Jahren Zwangspause widmet der Städtische Musikverein Paderborn sein Herbstkonzert dem großen Meister der Wiener Klassik. Die Gesamtleitung hat Marbod Kaiser. Auf dem Programm stehen zwei der letzten Werke aus Mozarts Todesjahr 1791 und die selten gehörte Maurerische Trauermusik. Die Nordwestdeutsche Philharmonie und der Klarinettist Manfred Preis präsentieren das famose Klarinettenkonzert in A-Dur, dessen zweiter Satz (Adagio) auch in vielen Filmmusiken und populären Klassik-Samplern zu hören ist.

Das legendenumwobene Requiem in d-Moll, das Mozart angesichts des nahenden Todes angelegt hat und das von einem seiner Schüler auf Betreiben von Mozarts Witwe vollendet wurde, bildet den zweiten Teil des Konzertes. Den Gesangspart bestreiten der Konzertchor des Städtischen Musikvereins Paderborn und Solistinnen und Solisten des Detmolder Landestheaters: Penelope Kendros (Sopran), Dorothee Bienert (Alt), Hyunsik Shin (Tenor) und Seongwon Lee (Bass).
