Berwaldhallen welcomes the Norwegian rising star cellist Amalie Stalheim in Bo Linde’s cello concerto from 1965. Young shooting star conductor Tabita Berglund also lead the Swedish Symphony orchestra in Britta Byström’s A drama in the Air inspired by a Jules Verne short story and Geirr Tveitts A Hundrad Hardanger Tunes where Norwegian folk music has been given a symphonic shape. After the concert on September 27 there will be a bonus concert, with musicians from the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra will commence. Stay on to experience Nordic music for the oboe, including av world premier by Swedish composer Madeleine Isaksson.
