The 2022/23 season finally begins again with a grand opening concert on September 3rd.

Thrilling and touching excerpts from the highlights of the program can be experienced by everyone in Dessau on a large open-air stage in the theater forecourt. The evening offers a program for the whole city with music from classics such as Mozart's Magic Flute , Puccini's Madama Butterfly , Verdi's La Traviata , the bizarre hit musical Black Rider and many other works! An ideal opportunity to spend a boisterous late summer evening together with many other fans and strollers after a long time. It will be moderated by General Manager Johannes Weigand.

With the music theater, drama and ballet ensembles as well as the opera choir and extra choir of the Anhalt Theater and the Anhalt Philharmonic under the direction of GMD Markus L. Frank, the first conductor Elisa Gogou, conductor Wolfgang Kluge and choir director Sebastian Kennerknecht.
