Mezzosopran Ingeborg Børch, baryton Frederik Rolin og pianist Jakob Beck leverer opera-danseshow af den skoldhede slags, når de lægger vejen forbi Spanien og Argentina på deres musikalske rejse gennem aftenens menu. De veloplagte artister bestiger desuden en østrigsk bjergtop og runder af med en engelsk ”gastro-komisk” afdeling med garanti for, at alle bliver mætte!

Operamiddagen består af fire retter krydret med kendte og ukendte sange fra både opera-, operette-, musical-, og filmverdenen. Fra tangoens mester Piazolla og den vilde Carmen over den letlevende Don Juan til den latterlige admiral i Den gode Fregat Pinafore får gæsterne rørt både lattermusklerne og tårekanalerne.

Menuen er sammensat af sæsonens råvarer ved restauratør Michael Kopp Christensen og køkkenchef Nicklas Thellufsen og nydes denne aften på Øvre Foyer under Jeppe Heins kunstværk Spejlet. Begge repræsenterer på fornemste via Restaurant Fauna, der for nylig har opnået topanmeldelsen 6 gafler i Nordjyske.

Mezzo-soprano Ingeborg Børch, baritone Frederik Rolin and pianist Jakob Beck deliver an opera-dance show of the scalding kind when they make their way past Spain and Argentina on their musical journey through the evening's menu. The well-prepared artists also climb an Austrian mountain top and round off with an English "gastro-comic" section with a guarantee that everyone will be full!

The opera dinner consists of four courses seasoned with well-known and unknown songs from both the opera, operetta, musical and film worlds. From the tango master Piazolla and the wild Carmen to the easy-going Don Juan to the ridiculous admiral in The Good Frigate Pinafore, the guests will have both their laughter muscles and tear ducts touched.

The menu is composed of seasonal ingredients by restaurateur Michael Kopp Christensen and head chef Nicklas Thellufsen and is enjoyed this evening in the Øvre Foyer under Jeppe Hein's artwork The Mirror. Both represent mainly via Restaurant Fauna, which has recently achieved the top review 6 forks in North Jutland.
