In order to enable children and young people to experience Edvard Grieg's wonderful music and the
world of Norwegian legends through their senses, a scenic concept was
developed that combines listening pleasure with visual impressions. On the stage
, an orchestra plays the two suites Peer Gynt by Edvard Grieg, in front of it is a stage on
which an actor tells stories from the life of the hero Peer Gynt. He tells of his
encounter with the trolls, the little mythical creatures of the Scandinavian mountains. These
trolls appear to him and the viewers as knobbly creatures that are led by two black-robed
puppeteers. The scenic concert combines turbulent
scenes with melancholic charm.
