Die Schlagwerker von Percussion Under Construction erkunden die Welt des Metrums – und gleichzeitig die Metren in unserer Welt. Denn von Natur zu Kultur: Alles ist erfüllt und erzählt vom Zusammenspiel geometrischer Figuren.

 

Wie trommelt man ein Quadrat? Wie klingen vier gleich lange Seiten, die im rechten Winkel zueinander stehen? Gemeinsam mit Gästen denken Percussion Under Construction zweidimensional und dreidimensional, lassen sich inspirieren von Dreieck, Kreis und Pyramide und suchen nach den ästhetischen Spuren dieser Figuren auf unserer Erde.

 

Dabei gibt’s nicht nur ordentlich was auf die Ohren – auch fürs Auge wird einiges geboten: Akustische wie räumliche Figuren werden effektvoll miteinander in Beziehung gesetzt, durch Live-Visuals zum Tanzen gebracht und durch das Spiel mit Licht und Nebel poetisch in Szene gesetzt. Lassen Sie sich entführen in eine ganze Welt voll mitreißender Rhythmen!

The percussionists from Percussion Under Construction explore the world of meter - and at the same time the meters in our world. Because from nature to culture: Everything is fulfilled and tells of the interaction of geometric figures.

 

How do you drum a square? What does four sides of equal length that are at right angles to each other sound like? Together with guests, Percussion Under Construction think two-dimensionally and three-dimensionally, are inspired by triangles, circles and pyramids and look for the aesthetic traces of these figures on our earth.

 

Not only is there something for the ears , there is also something for the eyes: Acoustic and spatial figures are effectively related to each other, made to dance by live visuals and poetically staged by the play of light and fog. Let yourself be carried away into a whole world full of rousing rhythms!
