We have been working on this project with children from welcome and regular classes at Berlin elementary schools for 8 years now. For one semester of school we playfully explore the concert piece Peter and the Wolf by Sergei S. Prokofiev. The children who have recently arrived in Germany also learn the German language through music - without pressure and with a lot of love.

The highlight is Peter and the Wolf in a bilingual performance (German and Arabic). A moving concert experience to which the children of the welcome and regular classes and of course their parents are invited.
An audio book CD has been released for the project, which contains both the German-Arabic and a purely instrumental version. In addition, a quick-drawn video in which the story is presented in an exciting way for the eyes and ears will be made available to everyone on our homepage. In this way, everyone can become a storyteller in their own language. A lovingly interactive digital invitation to everyone, everywhere!

Seit mittlerweile 8 Jahren arbeiten wir in diesem Projekt mit Kindern aus Willkommens- und Regelklassen an Berliner Grundschulen zusammen. Ein Schulhalbjahr lang befassen wir uns spielerisch mit dem Konzertstück Peter und der Wolf von Sergej S. Prokofjew. Die neu in Deutschland angekommenen Kinder lernen – ohne Druck und mit viel Liebe – über die Musik auch die deutsche Sprache kennen.

Als Höhepunkt wird Peter und der Wolf in einer zweisprachigen Aufführung (Deutsch und Arabisch) besucht. Ein bewegendes Konzerterlebnis, zu dem die Kinder der Willkommens- und Regelklassen und natürlich auch ihre Eltern eingeladen sind.
Zum Projekt ist eine Hörbuch-CD erschienen, die sowohl die deutsch-arabische als auch eine rein instrumentale Fassung enthält. Außerdem wird ein Schnellzeichner-Video, in dem die Geschichte spannend für Auge und Ohr aufbereitet ist, auf unserer Homepage für alle zur Verfügung gestellt. So kann jede:r selbst zum:r Erzähler:in in der eigenen Sprache werden. Eine liebevoll-interaktive digitale Einladung an alle und überall!
