На сцене челябинского театра спектакль поставлен знаменитым режиссером Алексеем Степанюком в его неповторимой авторской манере. Исторические костюмы вовсе не отменяют применения современных технологий. Благодаря мультимедийному экрану зрители увидят образы старого Петербурга и попытаются уловить вкус давно ушедшей эпохи. Интересная роль отводится хору – в некоторых эпизодах он покидает свое привычное место на сцене и переходит в зрительный зал.

On the stage of the Chelyabinsk theater the performance was staged by the famous director Alexey Stepanyuk in his unique author's style.

Historical costumes do not at all cancel out the use of modern technologies. Thanks to the multimedia screen, viewers will see images of old St. Petersburg and try to catch the taste of a long-gone era.

The choir plays an interesting role - in some episodes it leaves its usual place on the stage and moves into the auditorium.

The performance of the Chelyabinsk Opera and Ballet Theater “The Queen of Spades” is the winner of the Grand Prix of the Regional Festival of Professional Theaters “Scene-2005” and a special jury prize of the National Theater Festival “Golden Mask”.
