Nu öppnar Norrlandsoperan dörren till Jane Austens ikoniska berättelse om Elizabeth Bennet och Mr Darcys krokiga väg till äktenskaplig lycka – denna gång som opera! Galant, vacker och intagande musik suger oss åter in i deras fascinerande värld fylld av intriger och äkta känslor. Föreställningen blir ett dansant och psykologiskt maskineri som ömsom drivs av individens längtan, ömsom av det sociala kollektivets regler.

Norrlandsoperan bjuder in till en oförglömlig upplevelse med operan Stolthet och fördom. Med musik av Daniel Nelson och libretto av Sofia Fredén, tar denna föreställning oss med på en musikalisk resa in i Elizabeth Bennets och Mr Darcys romantiska värld. Njut av den galanta, vackra och intagande musiken som fyller stora scenen och suger in dig i en fascinerande värld fylld av intriger och äkta känslor. Norrlandsoperans symfoniorkester, under ledning av dirigenten Ville Matvejeff, ger liv åt musiken som driver föreställningen framåt i en dansant och psykologisk resa genom individens längtan och det sociala kollektivets regler.

Regisserad av Clara Svärd och med scenografi och kostym av Marika Feinsilber, blir denna föreställning en visuell och musikalisk fest. Ljusdesignern Anna Wemmert sätter stämningen på scenen och tillsammans med de tio sångsolisterna, skapar de en föreställning som är fylld av intriger och äkta känslor.

Anders Lundström gestaltar Mr Bennet och Susanna Levonen spelar Mrs Bennet, medan Ingrid Berg tar på sig rollen som Lydia och Amie Foon gestaltar Charlotte.
