The artistic director of the theatre, director Georgy Isahakyan, together with artists Valentina Ostankovich and Philip Vinogradov, who are well known to the audience from such performances as: “Love for Three Oranges”, “Carmen”, “Chanterelle. Love.", "Gulliver's Travels" and many others, present a performance based on Caesar Cui's opera fairy tale "Little Red Riding Hood", published in 1912.

“When we took the pre-revolutionary edition of Cui’s score, we discovered that it was dedicated to Tsarevich Alexei and was probably intended by the composer for a home performance in the royal family: it is no coincidence that all parts in the opera were written for female voices. Perhaps it was supposed that the sisters and governesses of the tsarevich were to perform them,” said Georgy Isahakyan. – We decided to play home theater – touching and somewhat naive, where all the roles are played by members of the same family, albeit royal, toys from the nursery become part of the stage action, the two-headed eagle is a simple forest bird, and the carpet on the floor is a map of the mysterious forests".
