Song was at the core of Britten’s musical life, both as a prolific writer and arranger of songs and as a performer alongside his partner Peter Pears. Join us for three special concerts across the Britten Weekend that explore all of the song cycles for solo voice and piano published during his lifetime.

These concerts form part of the year-long celebrations of the 50th anniversary of the Britten Pears Young Artist Programme, and will be performed by Malcolm Martineau on the piano alongside high-profile Britten Pears Young Artist Programme vocal alumni including Fleur Barron, Nicky Spence, Marcus Farnsworth, Sian Dicker, Robin Tritschler, Peter Brathwaite, Benjamin Hulett, Marie McLaughlin, James Way and Anna Dennis.
