The red that dominates the stage, like a blood that irrigates the stage or an alcohol that stuns the senses. Bewitching, enchantment, melancholy, the Lady & Bird duo, formed by Keren Ann Zeidel and Barði Jóhannsson, composed in complicity with Sjón, (Icelandic poet, novelist and lyricist from Björk), Red Waters . A pop opera and gothic tale that imagines a story between norm and transgression, whispering and exuberance.

Red Waters brings together an international artistic team: Arthur Nauzyciel for the direction, Damien Jalet for the choreography, Riccardo Hernández for the decor, Scott Zielinski for the light, the stylist Gaspard Yurkievich for the costumes, Nicolas Agullo for the conductor of the Orchestra and Marie Darrieussecq for the French libretto. After a first version created in 2011, bringing them together again 10 years later is a real challenge: the Opéra de Rennes, the TNB and the ONB are reviving this show in a new vocal, musical and choreographic distribution.
