Depois do grande sucesso da estreia na Gulbenkian Música em 2023, quando dirigiu a Missa Solemnis de Beethoven, o maestro Matthew Halls regressa para liderar o Coro e a Orquestra Gulbenkian num programa preenchido com obras dos compositores franceses Debussy, Chausson e Fauré. A par de uma bem-sucedida carreira como organista, Halls tem-se afirmado como um dos mais reputados maestros internacionais, com um interesse particular pela música barroca. Gravou discos premiados, com obras de Händel e J. S. Bach, destacando-se a abordagem de excelência ao repertório coral.

After the great success of his debut at Gulbenkian Music in 2023, when he conducted Beethoven's Missa Solemnis , maestro Matthew Halls returns to lead the Gulbenkian Choir and Orchestra in a program filled with works by French composers Debussy, Chausson and Fauré. In addition to a successful career as an organist, Halls has established himself as one of the most renowned international conductors, with a particular interest in baroque music. He recorded award-winning records, with works by Handel and JS Bach, highlighting the excellent approach to the choral repertoire.
