Requiem in D minor KV 626 seriously ill Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart wrote just before his death in 1791. It was commissioned by Count Walsegg, known for appropriating other people's works, by sending a mysterious man to the famous composer. This theme was used by Miloš Forman in his film masterpiece Amadeus. The messenger in the black mask and cloak was jealous of the genius of Mozart, the court composer of the Austrian emperor - Antoni Salieri. Thanks to the 1984 film, in which impure intentions and evil forces were entangled, Requiem became an even more recognizable piece. Mozart really - as in the movie - put off writing this work, as if he wanted to outdo the time he had left. He did not complete the Requiem. Was he really preoccupied with the Magic Flute , or was the knowledge that he was about to die scared him so much that he felt that he was writing this piece not on commission, but for himself? Requiem for Mozart ...

The Requiem of one of the greatest composers of all time is his greatest sacred work, an enchanting monumental vocal-instrumental piece, immersed in Catholic tradition, a tragic reflection on the beginning and end, a combination of two worlds - the temporal one ruled by suffering and the future - a place of endless happiness.
