Après son triomphe en 2022, Barbara Hannigan retrouve la Maison symphonique dans le double rôle de chanteuse et de cheffe d’orchestre. Dans ce concert au format hors du commun, elle présentera pour la première fois en Amérique du Nord sa production scénique du monodrame de Poulenc La voix humaine qui mettra en valeur toute l’intensité de son jeu dramatique. De Richard Strauss, elle dirigera les Métamorphoses, une œuvre introspective au fort pouvoir expressif.

After her triumphant performance in 2022, Barbara Hannigan returns to the Maison symphonique in the dual role of singer and conductor. In this unusually structured concert, she will give the first North American performance of her own staged production of Poulenc’s monodrama La voix humaine, showcasing the full intensity of her dramatic artistry. She will also conduct Richard Strauss’ Metamorphosen, a powerfully expressive and introspective work.
