Experience Scandinavia's biggest musical hit in the Opera

As in the sky is a heartwarming and entertaining feel-good musical that invites both laughter and tears. The music grabs you with ear-hanging hits like Gabriella's song and The time I have .

The huge success As in Heaven has won the hearts of audiences throughout Scandinavia. Experience the hit musical for the first time in Denmark when Som i Himlen is presented with a strong team of musical stars in a newly translated Danish version.

The story is taken from Carin and Kay Pollak's famous and award-winning film, which tells how song and music create community between very different people who meet and sing to their heart's content.

The internationally famous Daniel Daréus conducts in fine concert halls and opera houses all over the world. Despite his success, he is frustrated, because Daniel is a great musician, but tone-deaf to life and love. The music and the fame no longer give him the same joy as before, and without warning he suddenly gets a blood clot during a concert that almost kills him. Without quite knowing why, he then returns home to his childhood town, where he reluctantly takes over the town's small church choir and its colorful crowd of members. 

Experience Carsten Svendsen in the lead role as Daniel, and among the other actors are Maria Lucia Heiberg Rosenberg, Sicilia Gadborg Høegh and Cecilie Stenspil.

For Som i himlen, the composer Fredrik Kempe has created catchy music full of popular songs and beautiful choral movements, accompanied by the Royal Chapel.

Kæmpesuccesen Som i himlen har vundet publikums hjerter i hele Skandinavien. Oplev hit-musicalen for første gang i Danmark, når Som i himlen præsenteres med et stærkt hold musicalstjerner i en nyoversat dansk version.

Historien er hentet fra Carin og Kay Pollaks berømte og prisbelønnede film, der fortæller, hvordan sang og musik skaber fællesskab mellem vidt forskellige mennesker, som mødes og synger af hjertens lyst.

Uden helt at vide hvorfor vender han herefter hjem til sin barndomsby, hvor han modvilligt overtager byens lille kirkekor og dets farverige skare af medlemmer.
