One is a tenor and son of a tenor, who went through the rigorous experience of the Frankfurt Opera troupe, before taking on roles from the Festival d'Aix to the Staatsoper in Berlin. The other is a pianist trained in the most virtuoso concertos, and a great Schumannian before the eternal. On the poems of Eichendorff, Schumann deploys with ardor his romantic vision, from a distant land to a spring night, "from the beautiful solitude of the forests" to the silence of the "so discreet" stars... An evening which marries the ardor of Lied to the fiery Nachtstücke for piano.

L’un est un ténor et fils de ténor, passé par l’expérience rigoureuse de la troupe de l’Opéra de Francfort, avant d’enchaîner les prises de rôles, du Festival d’Aix au Staatsoper de Berlin. L’autre est un pianiste rodé aux concertos les plus virtuoses, et un grand schumannien devant l’éternel. Sur les poèmes d’Eichendorff, Schumann  déploie avec fougue sa vision romantique, d’une terre lointaine à une nuit de printemps, « de la belle solitude des forêts » au silence des étoiles « si discrètes »… Une soirée qui marie les ardeurs du lied aux fougueuses Nachtstücke pour piano.
