Berlioz’s Les nuits d’été then offers a contrasting experience — a dreamlike journey through songs of love, longing, and the beauty of summer nights. Each melody is a brushstroke in this impressionistic portrait of human emotion and the changing seasons.

A highlight of the evening is Saint-Saëns’ Symphony No. 3, the ‘Organ Symphony’.
