In 2004, the British comedian group Monty Python turned their film "The Knights of the Coconut", shot thirty years earlier, into wonderfully silly and deeply satirical music comedy. The focus is on King Arthur, who “has problems counting to three”.


For his round table he recruits a weird gang, including the thug Lancelot and the radical left Galahad. As soon as they have gathered on his kitschy holiday destination Camelot, God interferes in the action and ultimately demands that the troops first seek the holy grail. Said and done. The round table has to face numerous challenges, including the fight against flying cows or bloodthirsty killer rabbits. Since the knights are accompanied on their search by the enchanting fairy from the lake, they never lose their good mood thanks to the catchy tune “Always look on the bright side of life”.
