The concert sees the Orchestra engaged in a prestigious collaboration with one of the greatest international pianists, Stefano Bollani, under the direction of M° Ferdinando Sulla. 

The program presented gives ample prominence to the dialogue between piano and orchestra, in the spirit of jazz. The famous Rhapsody in Blue by George Gershwin is an atypical example of a concert for piano and orchestra: fusing classical form with jazz and blues stylistic elements, the inexhaustible rhythmic strength and the charm of the typically roaring twenties harmonies immediately decreed its resounding success with the public . The song was used for countless soundtracks (among them, in Woody Allen's Manhattan ) and is still known and appreciated as one of the most remarkable examples of mixing styles. 

In the same vein is Stefano Bollani's Concerto Azzurro , a composition dedicated to communication and creative expression, achieved and highlighted through numerous tempo changes and an abundance of melodic ideas that sometimes lead to free improvisation on the piano, making each performance different from the other.
