When it gets dark early during the Christmas season, one sometimes forgets that in other parts of the world, it's T-shirt weather. 'O Tannenbaum,' 'Leise rieselt der Schnee,' and 'Ihr Kinderlein kommet' don't always have to be sung fervently and contemplatively; they also work wonderfully with Latin American rhythms. But this concert doesn't stop there. Mozart's lively Cuban March, Bizet's powerful Farandole, Gershwin's Summertime, Ravel's Bolero, and even Beethoven's Für Elise - these and other classical evergreens receive the right groove with the addition of Latin American spices! The Klazz Brothers prove this with their wonderfully hip-swinging and often tongue-in-cheek program
