Mo. Elias Grandy is to be our Chief Conductor starting April 2025 and he revealed his wish to perform all the Mahler Symphonies with the orchestra. To start with, we will present Symphony No. 1 “Titan.” The other work for this concert is “Der Schwanendreher,” written by Hindemith for viola and chamber orchestra. It is based on the folklore of Germany, and an appearing soloist, Mönkemeyer is the young virtuoso from Germany.
