The Addams are - at first glance - a normal family: father Gomez, mother Morticia, son Pugsley, daughter Wednesday, grandma, uncle Fester and the butler Lurch. But the Addams have a secret that makes them extraordinarily unusual... So
far, they've managed to appear like a harmless average family to the outside world. But the clan's quiet existence is thrown into disarray when daughter Wednesday secretly becomes engaged to Lucas Beineke, a nice young man whose family is ignorant of the ins and outs of the Addams family. And Lucas' parents have agreed to dinner tonight to finally meet the Addams. Father Gomez is shocked, mother Morticia is outraged; the situation threatens to escalate.
