The world of operetta is wide and varied, it includes lyrics and satire, funny and serious, frivolous and touching. Music in the operetta performs an important dramatic function. Today you will see one of the composer's brightest and most popular operettas - La Bayadere. The extraordinary popularity of this operetta is explained by the fabulously beautiful music: it simply enchants with its melodiousness.
What is this performance about? Of course, about love. Oriental Prince Rajami is in Paris as an envoy. He often visits the Paris Opera, where the young singer Odette sings. No one knows that Rajami is in love with her and specially goes to the theater in order to at least see his beloved on stage. Finally, one evening he meets her. It seems that his feelings are reciprocated, but how many obstacles, it turns out, lies in the way of their happiness. Will the lovers be able to overcome them?
