A co-production of the Teatro Colón and the Gran Teatro Nacional de Lima
The Teatro Colón presents The Little Prince , an original opera by Rachel Portman and librettos by Nicholas Wright, based on the novel by Antoine de Saint Exupéry. An endearing story, full of symbols, that allows us to reconnect with that child who lives permanently in our hearts and makes us live a wonderful life experience at the hand of a carefree and gentle little globetrotter, who one day would visit our planet from its remote location. asteroid B612. 

The opera El Principito is a co-production of the Teatro Colón and the Gran Teatro Nacional de Lima. 135 Colombian lyrical singers participated in the call to choose the soloists, from there 9 singers were chosen who will be in charge of representing the characters: the Little Prince, the Pilot, the Rose, the Fox, the Drunkard / the Lighthouse, the Businessman, Water, Snake / Vanity and Geographer. The scenography was created at the La Sabana Scenography Workshop, at the Colón Theater.
