La révolte des Canuts - Episode 1 : Présentation du projet

Roger Corman’s 1960s film was the horror comedy which inspired the author Howard Ashman and the composer Alan Menken, both Disney Studios collaborators, to create the musical The Little Shop of Horrors. Conceived in Broadway in 1982, Off-Broadway ran for five years in a row and in turn inspired a musical film to Frank Oz in 1986.

This production, conceived by Maxime Pascal and directed by Valérie Lesort and Christian Hecq, follows the tradition of musicals, French style, with a great deal of theatrical surprises. The artists of the Nouvelle Troupe Favart will make audiences howl with laughter and shriek with horror in this wacky family show

Musical comedy from a text by Howard Ashman. Created in Broadway in 1982. New orchestration adapted by Arthur Lavandier, translated to French by Ludovic Alexandre Vidal and Julien Salvia.
