Radiokören uppmärksammar György Ligetis 100-årsjubileum

Chief conductor Kaspars Putniņš leads the Radio Choir in a tribute concert to György Ligeti, who would have turned 100 this year. We get to take part in his evocative piece Lux Aeterna , which was used by Stanley Kubrick in the film 2001: A Space Odessey . Ligeti's Drei Hölderlin Phantasien was first performed 40 years ago, in 1982, by the Radio Choir under Eric Ericson. In addition, among other things, music by Lars Johan Werle and Lars Edlund, two composers who both had a close relationship with Eric Ericson and the Radiokören.

Chefsdirigent Kaspars Putniņš leder Radiokören i en hyllningskonsert till György Ligeti, som i år skulle ha fyllt 100 år. Vi får ta del av hans suggestiva stycke Lux Aeterna, som användes av Stanley Kubrick i filmen 2001: A Space Odessey. Ligetis Drei Hölderlin Phantasien uruppfördes för 40 år sedan, 1982, av Radiokören under Eric Ericson. Dessutom bland annat musik av Lars Johan Werle och Lars Edlund, två tonsättare som båda haft ett nära förhållande till Eric Ericson och Radiokören.
