Reunion with soprano Véronique Gens, passionate godmother of the Académie Orsay – Royaumont and major interpreter of French melody. Around the relationship between Marcel Proust and Reynaldo Hahn, she explores French melody with the great pianist Susan Manoff.

Between Marcel Proust and Reynaldo Hahn, it was first a romantic relationship, which was forged before the literary celebrity of the great writer. It continued from a faithful friendship until the last day of the author of the Search for Lost Time. Reynaldo Hahn shared with Marcel Proust the sensitivity, the culture, the sometimes fierce spirit. His melodies earned him glory in the Parisian salons at the age of twenty. It remains one of the embodiments of the charm of the Belle Époque - which must not overshadow the richness and subtlety of a musical language that later illuminated the scenes of the interwar period.
