The Mörbisch Lake Festival has been inspiring audiences with operettas and musicals on a unique stage right on Lake Neusiedl since 1957. This year, the Hungarian Countess Victoria is going to the lake with the operetta "Victoria and her Hussar" by Paul Abraham.

Countess Viktoria loses sight of her lover, a Hungarian hussar cavalry captain, in the turmoil of World War I. She marries the American ambassador and follows him to Tokyo. Then the lover who was believed to be lost comes back from Siberian captivity
