Im Herbst 2019 war Anne-Sophie Mutter anlässlich des 20-jährigen Jubiläums des West-Eastern Divan Orchestra zuletzt gemeinsam mit dem Orchester zu erleben. Beim Waldbühnenkonzert 2024 unter der Leitung von Daniel Barenboim ist die gefeierte Geigerin – die inzwischen zum Ehrenmitglied des Orchesters ernannt wurde – erneut zu Gast und übernimmt den Solopart im grandiosen Violinkonzert von Johannes Brahms. Im zweiten Teil des Konzerts steht dann Schuberts große C-Dur-Symphonie auf dem Programm. Karten sind ab sofort erhältlich.

In the fall of 2019, Anne-Sophie Mutter most recently performed with the West-Eastern Divan Orchestra for its 20th anniversary. The celebrated violinist—who was named an honorary member of the orchestra—reunites with the young musicians for the 2024 open-air concert at Berlin’s Waldbühne, conducted by Daniel Barenboim. She takes on the solo part in Johannes Brahms’s sublime Violin Concerto, followed by Schubert’s "Great" Symphony in C major in the second half of the program. Tickets are available now.
