Utytułowany śpiewak Szymon Komasa zaprezentuje bogaty wybór mniej znanych pieśni polskich. Artysta sięgnie również po utwory z repertuaru brytyjskiego i niemieckiego, natomiast w wykonaniu pianistów Sophii Muñoz i Marcina Kozieła zabrzmią cieszące się niegasnącą sławą Tańce węgierskie Johannesa Brahmsa oraz arcydzieła muzyki francuskiej – poematy symfoniczne Camille’a Saint-Saënsa i Claude’a Debussy’ego w opracowaniu na dwa fortepiany.

Stefan Kisielewski wyznawał ideę muzyki czystej, wolnej od jakichkolwiek sensów i znaczeń. Zrobił jednak wyjątek, komponując wokalne miniatury liryczne do słów Konstantego Ildefonsa Gałczyńskiego, oddające intymny charakter poezji i będące zaprzeczeniem myśli przewodniej jego własnej twórczości. Pozostałe utwory znajdujące się w programie koncertu, w tym mało znane dzieła polskich kompozytorów – Pieśni tęsknoty do słów Jana Kasprowicza, Sonety Michała Anioła, będące hołdem złożonym mistrzom renesansu, oraz pieśni Grażyny Bacewicz do poezji arabskiej w przekładzie Leopolda Staffa – również pełne są pozamuzycznych treści.

Repertuar został wzbogacony o pieśni brytyjskiej kompozytorki Rebeki Clarke, a także o utwory z niemieckiej literatury wokalnej. Ich bin der Welt abhanden gekommen Gustava Mahlera to monolog samotnego artysty niepotrafiącego odnaleźć się w zgiełku otaczającego go świata. Pieśni ze zbioru Rückert-Lieder, w odróżnieniu od jego monumentalnych symfonii, mają charakter intymny. The award-winning singer Szymon Komasa will present a rich selection of lesser-known Polish songs. The artist will also use works from the British and German repertoire, while pianists Sophia Muñoz and Marcin Kozieł will perform the ever-famous Hungarian Dances by Johannes Brahms and masterpieces of French music - symphonic poems by Camille Saint-Saëns and Claude Debussy in arrangement for two pianos.

Stefan Kisielewski believed in the idea of ​​pure music, free from any senses and meanings. He made an exception, however, composing vocal lyrical miniatures to the words of Konstanty Ildefons Gałczyński, reflecting the intimate nature of poetry and contradicting the main idea of ​​his own work.
