#Cliburn2022 Final 1/2: Yunchan Lim 임윤찬 - Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 3 in C Minor, Op. 37

Moments after becoming the youngest musician to ever win the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition, Yunchan Lim shared that the next piece he intended to learn for performance was J. S. Bach’s Goldberg Variations. Reporters—who had just witnessed the eagerly ambitious artist perform Liszt’s Transcendental Etudes in the competition, among other virtuoso achievements—couldn’t help but laugh in amazement. Now, just a year after his 2024 Carnegie Hall debut, the global superstar returns to perform Bach’s crowning keyboard achievement.
