Echoing the Dialogues des Carmélites and the exhibition dedicated to Francis Poulenc, come and discover one of the richest facets of the music of the great French composer. His melodies were indeed a kind of diary for him, marrying his enthusiasms and his doubts throughout his existence. Inspired by poems by Apollinaire, Eluard, Jean Cocteau and others Robert Desnos or Louise de Vilmorin for example, he finds in this art of miniature a tone that is unique to him, sometimes light or cheerful , sometimes deeply recollected and almost religious.
It is a vast panorama of his melodies that we invite you to discover in the company of pianist Anne Le Bozec and a host of exceptional young singers: soprano Amel Brahim-Djelloul, mezzo-soprano Victoire Bunel, tenor Thomas Bettinger or the baritone Jean-Christophe Lanièce.
