A character arrives in a universe that is not his, and reshuffles the cards. The rolling stroke comes to upset the lives of the characters who live a great crossing under the swell of feelings.

“We are sometimes dealing with romantic comedy, social and political painting, situation comedy,” explains Sol Espeche.

His staging promises a clever marriage between the rich and precise playing and the music of Messager. A score full of life and optimism in which melodies, harmonic research and refined orchestration stand out. Les Frivolités Parisiennes, of which the Atelier Lyrique de Tourcoing has been a partner since they won the first prize for the Jean-Claude Malgoire Springboard Residence, once again brings together a team of singers capable of handling the theatrical complexity and voice of this new challenge.

Un personnage débarque dans un univers qui n’est pas le sien, et rebat les cartes. Le coup de roulis vient bouleverser les vies des personnages qui vivent une grande traversée sous la houle des sentiments.

« Nous avons tantôt affaire à la comédie romantique, à la peinture sociale et politique, au comique de situation » explique Sol Espeche.

Sa mise en scène promet un savant mariage entre le jeu riche et précis et la musique de Messager. Une partition pleine de vie et d’optimisme dans laquelle se distinguent des mélodies, une recherche harmonique et une orchestration raffinée.  Les Frivolités Parisiennes, dont l’Atelier Lyrique de Tourcoing est partenaire depuis qu’ils ont remporté le premier prix de la Résidence-tremplin Jean-Claude Malgoire, réunit une fois de plus une équipe de chanteurs capables de prendre en charge la complexité théâtrale et vocale de ce nouveau défi.
