L’atelier Paroles et musique mené tout au long de la saison 2020 – 21 a associé la metteuse en scène hongroise Franciska Éry, le compositeur britannico-chinois Alex Ho et le poète haïtien Ar Guens Jean Mary, et permis la création de Étape par étape avec des chanteurs et des musiciens de l’Opéra Orchestre. Ces trois artistes singuliers, en résidence à l’Opéra Orchestre, présentent aujourd’hui la version finale de leur opéra de chambre, au sens le plus littéral du terme, Étape par Étape. Ce spectacle est une invitation au rêve collectif et un lieu pour des pensées tranquilles. Venez vivre cette oeuvre scénique immersive née par-delà les cultures, les langues et… les chambres à coucher.

The Words and Music workshop conducted throughout the 2020 – 21 season brought together Hungarian director Franciska Éry, British-Chinese composer Alex Ho and Haitian poet Ar Guens Jean Mary, and led to the creation of Step by Step with singers and musicians from the Opera Orchestra. These three singular artists, in residence at the Opéra Orchester, present today the final version of their chamber opera, in the most literal sense of the term, Step by Step . This show is an invitation to collective dreaming and a place for quiet thoughts. Come and experience this immersive scenic work born beyond cultures, languages ​​and... bedrooms.
