Aleksandra Jovanović

Aleksandra Jovanović is a coloratura soprano from Belgrade, Serbia. She came to the international public`s attention after winning the SWR Junge Operstars competition. She also won prizes in competitions such as Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg and Seoul International Music Competition. Following her successful international debut as Queen of the Night in famous Günter Kramer`s production of The Magic Flute at the Deutsche Oper Berlin, Ms. Jovanović was invited to return to this production in the following seasons and has since performed in some of the most notable opera houses and companies, such as Paris Opera`s Palais Garnier, Vienna State Opera, Gärtnerplatztheater, Teatre Principal de Palma and Dortmund Philharmonic.
