Alix Faulhaber

Mezzo soprano, Alix Faulhaber, is a native of St. Petersburg, Florida. Hailed by critics for a voice like “warm buttered bread”, “rich melted chocolate”, "an exceptionally strong stage presence, and a wit to pull it all together." Alix received her IB Diploma with a focus in Theatre, and then her B.A. in Acting from Susquehanna University. Immediately thereafter, Alix co-founded and served as Artistic Director of Stray Dogs Theatre Company, Inc. In 2008, Alix started taking voice lessons with Blake Leopold, and from there trained with the SITI Company at Columbia University and their Skidmore Summer Intensive. Inspired by the rigorous and horizon-broadening experiences with SITI, Alix began taking ensemble classes at the MIRA Program at St. Petersburg College, and not soon after that,
