Biography
Benjamin Lee's sweet timbre and high-arching technical comfort make him the perfect artist for the Tenore di Grazia repertoire. In the 2019/20 season, Benjamin Lee will be performing as Mottel in Anatevka (Fiddler on the Roof), Paris in Offenbach’s La belle Hélène, Pong in Turandot und Tybalt in Roméo et Juliette at Theater Magdeburg. Mr. Lee joined the ensemble of Theater Magdeburg in the 2018/19 season where he sang Ernesto in Don Pasquale, Monostatos in Die Zauberflöte, Rodrigo in Verdi's Otello and 2. Nazarene in Salome. He debuted with Theater Magdeburg in 2018 as Pedrillo in a children’s version of Mozart’s Die Entführung aus dem Serail. Previous, heo appeared as Don Ramiro in La Cenerentola with Queen City Opera, Lurcanio in Ariodante, and the tenor solo in Bach’s Mass in B Minor w
