Brian Skoog

Brian Skoog is an American tenor known for his "strong voice" (Cleveland Classical) and "fine lyric tenor” (Toledo Blade). In the 2021-2022 season, he will sing the role of Ruiz in Il trovatore with Toledo Opera as well as making his role debut as Mozart in Rimsky-Korsakov's Mozart and Salieri with The Cleveland Opera. In concert, he will be a featured performer on the concert "Three Tenors of the Cleveland Opera." He was scheduled to sing the role of The Defendant in Gilbert & Sullivan's Trial by Jury, as well as making his debut with Opera Maine as Roderick in Philip Glass’s The Fall of the House of Usher, but these productions were canceled due to ongoing public health concerns.
