Biography
The Cuban-born tenor Bryan Lopez Gonzalez was born in La Habana where he studied at the Conservatorio Amadeo Roldán with Adolfo Casas. Following his graduation, he was immediately engaged as a soloist by the Opera Nacional de Cuba where he performed numerous roles, including Alfredo in La Traviata, Tonio in La fille du régiment and the Steersman in The Flying Dutchman. In 2016 he made his European debut at the Valle d’Itria Festival in Italy singing Ferrando in Così fan tutte under the baton of Fabio Luisi, and took part in the Accademia del Belcanto Rodolfo Celletti in Martina Franca. From 2016 to 2018 he was a member of the opera studio of the Deutsche Oper am Rhein in Düsseldorf.
